I had the great pleasure or photographing Deeana & Jose’s little one  in the new studio yesterday. I photographed Dee & Jose’s wedding just over a year ago and was so happy when they allowed me to also photograph their new bundle of joy! Giselle turned 1 week old the day of the photo shoot which made it even more special. I had a wonderful time working with them all and am  thrilled we captured so many great images…

We are thrilled to announce we will be opening a new studio this May in the NE Minneapolis Arts District. We are very grateful and fortunate for this opportunity to expand our business and offer a variety of more shoot options and sessions in an area surrounded by other talent artists of every genre.

We receive many requests from our wonderful clients for additional portrait sessions which include: newborns, seniors, families, bridal studio portraits and pets. We are very fortunate for our customer loyalty and trust, which allows us to be more and more creative and stay on top of what’s new out there and also allows us to be there for your most intimate and special moments of your lives. Not only are we blessed to be a part of your Wedding Day, we also get to experience your “life steps” with you and are truly grateful.

Our new space will allow us to create artful images both inside and outside the studio. We can’t wait to share this “raw” and amazing space with you! We of course will always offer location shooting in your desired area, along with combination shoots both in studio, and on-location. Our new expansion is simply an extension of what we have been doing, and  what we will continue to do to provide you, your friends, and family with images that tell “your life story.”

I was very fortunate to have been asked by a long time client of mine to create new “art” for his home. It was such an honor to take this task on. Brad himself is an artist with an eye that is precise and creative. When he asked me to create images that he would be hanging in his home “gallery style” I have to admit I was extremely excited but at the same time a little nervous. When working with another artist it is particularly tricky since everyone’s “eye” has a  somewhat different vision, and I knew these would be hanging up for quite some time.  Together we created amazing images and I am so grateful for his trust in me and also for his kind words. I am so fortunate to have such wonderful clients that continue to make me push the envelope and  keep my creativity alive! Thank you! A couple images from the shoot…

We absolutely love shooting weddings and they do take up most of our time, however occasionally we are able to venture out and have fun with different areas of photography. My first passion in photography was fashion & beauty, and I have always emphasized on this regardless of what I am shooting. With weddings I am able to capture the beauty & fashion side along with the moments of the day, and I absolutely love it! Last week we were fortunate to have done a photo shoot for Merriweather Designs in Chicago. We had a wonderful time both working with the designer (Kelsey Rhodes) as well as enjoying a great change of pace. Here are a couple photos from the shoot.

We would like to wish Laura & Luke a very Happy 1 year Anniversary! They were married April 4, 2009, and we have to say this wedding was a blast!
