Saturday was the perfect day for Laura and Nathan’s wedding–it was filled with both sun and clouds, a fun wedding party, plenty of love and a view of the mighty Mississippi. They tied that knot at the Prince of Peace Church in Burnsville and headed to Rice Park for a wonderful photo session that spilled into the streets around the park. The Landmark Center and St. Paul Public Library always make for great settings for the couple and their wedding party. After a limo ride around downtown, we moved to the reception at the Science Museum of Minnesota where our photography continued with an elegant view of the Mississippi River from the cliffs. The lucky guests shared a fun-filled evening and grand view of the river from inside the reception room and the outside terrace.
My photo session with Maya today was filled with lots of laughter and dancing! Maya really enjoyed her fun dresses and twirled around everywhere we went. We started off in the Studio and then headed to Boom Island Park for some more photo on the bridge, in a field of wild flowers and even in the water. Enjoy…

Shannon and James had one of the most intimate weddings we’ve covered at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa yesterday. About 60 guests joined the lovely couple for a beachfront ceremony with the sparkling waters of Gull Lake in the afternoon sun. Following an amazing photo session, the couple retreated with their guests to the reception in the lodge’s wine cellar. Close to 300 candles set the intimate mood in the wine cellar as Shannon and James enjoyed a lovely meal and delicious cupcakes. Enjoy…

Beautiful!
I love working with the Duran family! I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing Ashley and Christian’s wedding in 2007, followed by capturing the moments of their little girl Olivia and now their brand new bundle of joy, Amelia. I do have to say it is wonderful watching children grow through your photographs! Olivia welcomed a new baby sister, Amelia, to her little world 10 days ago. Today I had the opportunity to photograph not only Olivia again, but the rest of the family as well. I am looking forward to capturing Amelia grow right along side her big sister! Enjoy…

Minerva and Kevin’s wedding was truly a union of two families who came from all over the world for this intimate ceremony on Saturday. Their special day started out as Minerva’s father, Al, styled her hair while Kevin suited up in his Dress Blues. The families made their way to the St. James Chapel (Quigley Prep Seminary) in Chicago for the very intimate ceremony performed by a close friend. The couple was chauffeured to the Chicago Four Seasons Hotel in a Rolls Royce Phantom where they were ushered into the reception by a keyed up crowd. Their first dance, to a live band, was kissed by the sunset on Lake Michigan and that was just the start of a long celebration.
