I need to start this blog post with saying how much fun this couple and their wedding party were! Their wedding  story began in November when we headed to The Riviera May for Sheena and Chris’ gorgeous destination wedding on the beach. They were surrounded by their closest friends as they read their vows. Immediately following their ceremony we headed down by the water for their first dance in the sand. The evening followed with a caribbean themed dinner and a night of love and laughter. The following morning we headed back to the beach for a sunrise Trash the Dress Session. The sunrise was amazing as Sheena and Chris jumped off the beach pier (they were brave!) We finished the session with a quick pit stop at the pool bar.

Last weekend they hosted an intimate ceremony and reception at The Wabasha Street Caves in St. Paul to continue the celebration with their family and friends. We headed to Mears Park for a few wintery photos and then headed back to The Wabasha Street Caves where their guests danced the night away. Enjoy…

I photographed Kirsten and Aaron’s (and pup Diesel) engagement session at Boom Island Park. The morning light was absolutely beautiful as well as the fall colors. As you can see in the photos, we spent a lot of the session laughing uncontrollably. I do believe this is the best series of “piggy back ride” photos I have captured and Diesel you sure stole my heart. Such a cutie. Enjoy…

Kristi and Josh were married on a gorgeous blustery day in September. Their reception took place at Rush Creek Golf Club where we captured many beautiful images on the grounds. Following their ceremony the couple and friends make a pit stop at a local bar to celebrate before dancing the night away with their family and friends. Fall sessions are wrapping up, the air is brisk and the Holiday’s are quickly approaching. It’s already time to start thinking about Holiday cards, gifts and sessions. Images by Kris will be running a couple of AWESOME early bird specials for Holiday sessions, cards and Organic Bloom Frames. The details are below. Be sure to place your order by the deadline so you don’t miss out on these deals!

Please take a moment to view our updated studio and gallery policy and procedures here, as well as our Holiday deadlines below. There are a few changes, and a couple of friendly reminders to assist in timely viewing and order fulfillment. Holiday Order Deadlines 2012

Sessions
Sessions must take place no later than
December 4 for online gallery viewing before the Holidays.

Printing
All prints, enlargements, Holiday cards and canvas orders are due no later than
December 3 for Holiday delivery.

Specialty Services
Traditional albums, custom designed templates and traditional framing is due no later than November 27 for Holiday delivery.

GraphiStudio
GraphiStudio albums are due no later than October 22 for Holiday delivery.

OB Framing
The Organic Bloom framing has not offered Holiday deadlines this year. They will take orders until they can no longer guarantee them. Last year orders placed in October arrived before the Holidays. I would recommend placing your order ASAP. Let’s face it their frames rock and are very popular so their deadline is most likely approaching very quickly.

Don’t forget to schedule your Holiday session at least 2 weeks prior to the Holiday deadlines to ensure the delivery of your order.

Due to the high volume of orders during this time we cannot guarantee any orders placed or payments received for orders after the deadlines will be fulfilled before the Holidays.

The morning after Liz and Josh’s wedding we headed to Pike Island for their Trash the Dress Session before they headed out of town. Of course darling Addie was a huge part of it, and Liz and Josh were not afraid to get wet! We spent the morning walking through tree lined paths and ended up taking a dip. Enjoy…

Liz and Josh live out of state so we met for the first time on their wedding day, and all I can say was they were such a pleasure to work with! They had a beautiful outdoor wedding on an absolutely gorgeous day at Thompson Park. Their ceremony took place under a tree where their darling dog Addie was the ring bearer, which I absolutely LOVED Small hearts hung in the tree as the couple exchanged vows during their intimate ceremony. We scheduled their awesome trash the dress session for the following morning and I can’t wait to share those photos with you in the next blog post! Enjoy…

Seriously, how cute is this couple? When they told me they wanted their engagement session on their boat I was more than excited! We started their session in Prescott where we took advantage of the old buildings and architecture, then headed out on the river just in time for sunset. We made a pit stop at Kinnickinnic Island where there is an abundance of  gorgeous scenery, water and sand! I thought it was only appropriate to to take a walk on the beach and a dip in the water in preparation for their Riviera Maya wedding on the beach this winter Enjoy….

Joan and John spent  their wedding day at the Rush Creek Country Club. The intimate event was held inside the country club, which was decorated with blue, white and orange. Each table was adorned with unique blue vases that added to the charm of the day. With their children standing at their side, they exchanged their vows in front of their closest family and friends. After dinner they made their way to the dance floor, hand-in-hand, for their first dance. The floor was then packed for the evening as everyone celebrated Joan and John’s beautiful day. Enjoy…
