Aditi and Justin’s wedding day was filled with an incredible amount of emotion and love and I am truly honored to have been there to capture it all! Their first look was so touching it gave me goosebumps! They started off the day at The Depot in Minneapolis getting ready with their friends and family. Many smiles, happy tears and well wishes were shared by all. Their ceremony took place under a gorgeous sun filled Mandap decked out by Richfield Florists with crystals and flowers. After the ceremony the couple changed into their evening wear and jumped aboard a trolley and headed to the Stone Arch Bridge where we took advantage of the setting sun. We had a wonderful time photographing Cassy and Mike last Saturday. Although we had gorgeous fall colors the weather felt like a warm summer day. Their ceremony was help at Trellis Events in Stillwater, an absolutely stunning location. Chandeliers hung above the tented ceremony as the couple said I do. The reception followed at Tanners Brook Golf Course in Forest Lake where the wedding party joined us for a few photos in front of  rustic barns on the grounds. We were even able to catch a great sunset amidst the clouds before heading in where the couple and their guests danced the night away. Enjoy…

I met Jana & Nick one recent morning for their engagement photos in Minneapolis. Nick’s sense of humor kept Jana laughing as we moved around Boom Island Park shooting. We had a little preview of the wedding coming up in Nisswa when we waded into the Mississippi river to cool down and keep shooting. Legend has it that rain brings good luck to a couple on their wedding day and that proved true for Kiristin and Brian on Saturday. They were blessed as close to 100 family and friends watched as Kiristin and her father, under the cover of an umbrella, walked down the aisle to their ceremony at the Centennial Lakes Amphitheater. As the rain let up, I photographed the wedding party and gorgeous couple around Centennial Lakes green and architectural grounds. As the bride and groom took off to their reception in a beautiful white Bentley I jumped in the front seat to capture their emotion along the way. At The Westin in Edina, the couple mingled with guests before they were ushered into the elegant ballroom for their dinner, dance and party. Sarah and Neil had the perfect day for a fall wedding in Minnesota yesterday. The afternoon’s light, shining through the brilliant stained glass windows, illuminated the interior of the Olivet Congregational Church where close to 200 of their friends and family watched as they exchanged their vows. We photographed the wedding party in Rice Park, as the rays from sunset bounced off of the downtown buildings. Sarah told me how she once performed at the Ordway Theatre, so we took advantage of the last minutes of sunset to photograph them outside the theatre. The reception started inside the 317 on Rice where the dark wood interior contrasted with the beautiful sunlight of their day. Their wedding favors were personalized in a most unique way — a small brown shopping bag filled with treats, marked with “Oxendale’s,” printed on it. That’s the name of Neil’s Oxendale Market in Minneapolis.
